A 3U server on the SilverStone RM32 with EPYC 4585PX (16C/32T) and an ASRock Rack B650D4U with IPMI. The base build is deliberately lean — 32 GB ECC and 2×1 TB NVMe in RAID1 — and from there you add memory up to 192 GB, drives in the bays, a GPU and redundant power. We assemble, cable and burn-in test it for 48 hours.

Why we like it
- EPYC 4585PX (16C/32T Zen 5, up to 5.7 GHz, 128 MB 3D V-Cache) on the ASRock Rack B650D4U with dedicated IPMI and 2×2.5 GbE.
- An honest minimum: chassis, board, CPU, cooling, rails, 32 GB ECC, 2×1 TB NVMe in RAID1 and a single PSU. Nothing you are not going to use.
- Configurable up to 192 GB ECC, 2×8 TB NVMe or enterprise pairs with PLP, 4 SATA drives or 2×20 TB in the 3.5" bays, a 16 or 32 GB GPU and 1+1 hot-swap redundant power.
In detail
A configuration verified part by part (availability and mechanical fit: 67 mm DeepCool AN600 cooler under the RM32 limit, PCIe 5.0 x16 riser included, RMS09-20 rails). Cooling with 3×120 mm front intake and 2× high-airflow 60 mm rear fans. The board exposes 2 M.2 2280 slots and 4 SATA ports: the NVMe pair fills the M.2 slots and bay drives use the SATA ports, so the two choices are independent. Turnkey price: assembly, tidy cabling, 48-hour burn-in with log, 3-year warranty and e-invoicing.
